I'd like to see the member's LOCAL time in the window. I know what time it is here.
Ideally, you could offer both member local time and user local time.
Adium: What times is it where?
Re: Adium: What times is it where?
Patrick Gibson's "Adium Time Zone Plugin" lets you see the local time for contacts in the contact list.
Re: Adium: What times is it where?
Okay.
Now all of my contacts have disappeared, and I cannot see how to get them back.
Thanks.
1) I had to quit and restart twice to get my contacts list back
2) I don't know the timezones of the people on my contacts. Doesn't the system know?
How about a world map with time zones to click?
The double-pop-down menu is really irritating to do 50 times.

Remember the plugin is unofficial. We do check whether for malicious code before we approve Xtras but we cannot guarantee that the plugin works flawlessly and doesn't break anything.
You can make feature suggestions the author of the plugin.
Which "system"?

Okay
Thanks, but I want to see the time IN THE MESSAGE, not have to move my cursor.

Only the XMPP protocol supports propagating timezone information, I think.donelson wrote: The other chat client of the person I'm speaking with. I'm sure IT knows what time IT is in...
I don't think any current developer is going to spend time on this. Patches are very welcome though.donelson wrote: Onto wish list, please. Thanks.

Re: Adium: What times is it where?
Okay, I have contacted the developer about these issues.
