Pop3 email notification?

Hi, is there any way to enable PoP3 email notification in Adium? I can enable notifications for Yahoo mail, Hotmail and so on, but I can't see any way to do this for my PoP3 email account.

I just want a one stop shop for all my message notifications.

Is that a nope not now, not ever type answer? Are there no plugins or anything like that?

We have no plans to add a POP3 checker (if you're interested in being alerted, there's plenty of programs out there that interface into Growl for it), nor is there any currently existing.
