email notification

I get a notification everytime I get an email in my hotmail account and can't get it turned off.

Try:
Preferences-> Accounts-> your account-> Options-> uncheck "Check for new mail"
and/or
Prefences-> Events-> disable "New email notification".
Does that solve the problem?

I double checked both suggestions and both were set properly, but since I did so I have not had any issues... so maybe that sorted it out, or a reboot did...

I get an email notification every time I start Adium (since 1.3.5 i think). If I use the button that says to open the email in web page (don't know the exact phrase since I'm using Swedish localisation) the Facebook login page opens!

But there is no alternative for the facebook account to turn on or off the email notifications. So how do I stop it?

Searching trac i found that this is a known issue and fixed for Adium 1.3.6: http://trac.adium.im/ticket/12480
