Hide Menubar Icon

I know this has been asked before. However after an hour of searching the forums I haven't been able to find the thread.

How do you hide the adium menu bar icon? The one beside the time on the top right?

I know it's about typing something into the terminal...
But i'm not sure what that is...

Instead of spending hours searching the forums glancing at the preferences would probably have sufficed, seriously, is it that hard to find?

On the beta version there is a check box on the "General" pane saying "Show Adium status in the menu bar". De-check it.

I can't remember specifically for the 0.77 version, but it will either be the same or maybe under the advanced section.

For the 0.77:
Preferences> Advanced> Other> Status Menu Item> de-check

Actually, it is. Advanced -> Other -> Status Menu Item? Who in their right mind is going to look there without an awful lot of hunting?

This preference will be located in General and have a much clearer label in the .8 release.
