Question regarding the final release

Post by MBHockey »

Will it have the 'Smooth Scrolling' that exists in most of the Proteus message views, and the Adium Xtra ProtoScroll?

Proton fixed it about 4-5 days ago in Proteus.

Smooth Scrolling is a bad thing. It should not be included in any wkmv

Why do you say that, The_Tick? There are a lot of people out there who like it, even though I know it's not to your taste :)

And yes, I know it leads to problems like we've had recently - but I've always included a non-smooth-scrolling version, too.

I read that post. I changed the code in ProtoScrollMod and I hope it works…

Ahh..you're the man. Didn't work right until after i downloaded the Java fix from SU (just a side note) but everything else seemed fine which was why i was holding out on it.

Looks great!

Edit: Is there an quick, or easy way, for me to change the main.css so there isn't that huge white space to the left of the names (where the buddy icon would go)

Because when it does break, people assume it is adium, and not the message view, which is causing the problem. Which, from their point of view, it certainly is adium causing the problem.

I'm waiting on some application changes to make some things possible, but it's coming.
