Cannot run cyberduck....

Postby horse » Sat Oct 17, 2009 2:52 pm

Hi everybody!

I downloaded cyberduck and installed it, but when I tried to start, the duck icon appears shortly in my dock and soon disappeared, seems it closed automatically, so I cannot use this cool tool. What's the problem?

Does anybody meet the same problem? I'm using Snow Leopard.

Thx!

Make sure to download the Snow Leopard compatible beta.

I downloaded the beta for Snow Leopard and this seems to work to run CyberDuck. However it now fails to connect to my iPod touch. I just installed the newest OS for the touch this morning: 3.1.2 (D711). Are there compatibility issues with this OS? I have restarted my MacBook Pro and all of the related software without any success. Thanks for any thoughts.

OMG, I didn't realize this b4.
That's the problem, I've downloaded the compatible version and it works well.

Thanks a lot :)

I get an immediate Unexpected Quit when I try to launch a previously working Leopard 10.5.8 Cyberduck after software update of
SecUpd2009-005.pkg
JavaForMacOSX10.5Update5.pkg
QuickTime764_Leopard.pkg
Safari4.0.3Leo.pkg
I tried the Cyberduck-3.3b4 Beta as well. Same result.

This looks the same as http://trac.cyberduck.ch/ticket/3861. I have filed radar://7374732 at bugreport.apple.com about this issue.
