Play a sound for mail notification?

I've searched the forum and Adium preferences, but I can't see any function to play a sound (of your choice) for mail notifications.

Is there one hidden somewhere? If not is it possible to include/in the process on being included?

if you are using one of the betas:

preferences > events
click "new email notification" then press the little plus down left.
Choose "play a sound" as action, and choose what sound you want.

Ah, unfortunately I'm using the latest stable release 0.77. I guess I'll have to wait patiently for the fabled 0.8, at least the devs had included the feature which is nice.
