MSN Messenger "Quick Message"

Post by leonardo.vieira »

Hello  ,
(I'm new to the forum, so if I'm posting this in the wrong section, sorry)
I use AdiumX as my IM client for my MSN/Hotmail account. My friends are all PC users, and they all use "Windows Live Messenger" (which is the last official client by Microsoft).
So here's the problem:
I use AdiumX, and AdiumX lets me change my "Display Name" and my "Status"
Windows Live Messenger lets me change my "Display Name", my "Status", my "quick message" and it has the option to "show what I'm listening to" (which retrieves the track name out of iTunes or Windows Media Player"

I would like to know, where in Adium, I can change my "Quick Message", and if Adium automatically retrieves the track name out of iTunes to put in "show what I'm listening to" section.

Thanks in advance.

You can just set your status to the iTunes option, then they can see what you are listening to from iTunes.. Regarding Quick message, no idea on what it is, and if it is something MSN specific I'm pretty sure we don't support it.
