Adium not remembering password?

So suddenly Adium is not remembering my password and I need to enter it manually. I've been a user for a while, and only recently (within the last couple of weeks) it's become an issue. I don't remember if there was an update. I'm currently on v1.4b17.

Another thing that's bothering me for the same length of time is the number of dodgy addresses that are trying to add me as a contact - though I've set it to "Only people on my contact list." This was not a problem before.

Anybody else reported these problems?

I got no help from people after a perfectly normal question. And it's not the first time either.

You haven't really given enough information to work with.

What service(s) are affected? Does it all affect all of those you use with Adium?
Passwords are saved in the OS X keychain. Have you tried to repair it?

Yes, yes I did. It's still there, as always. Nothing external has changed, only Adium.

Try deleting the keychain entry, then.

Maybe that's because no one has time, or the knowledge to answer your question. Do you automatically assume that you are entitled to a response, just by posting here?

So yeah, I solved the problem. I deleted it. All of it. Thanks for the help.
