chat-text-input-field isn't scrollable

In v1.4b18 (and already in b17) the chat-text-input-field isn't scrollable with the mousewheel/gesture when too much text is entered though a scrollbar is shown - clicking on it is the only way of scrolling…is this bug already known?

I am able to reproduce what you describe. You're saying this was already an issue in b17. Was there are time when this worked and are you able to tell me which version you were using then?

So far this issue has not been reported. I will file a bug report once we are done here.

I'm not quite sure if I used a beta version of 1.4 older than b17 - I rather think I switched from the stable version

Indeed, this problem didn't occur in the stable version

Edit: Just discovered another bug: when trying to fetch information about contacs (ICQ) (“display user info”) whose chat-window is currently not open, no information will be retrieved and the loader-image will stay (forever). However, when doing so with a contact, whose window is currently open, everything works fine. (it worked well in b17)

Yes. I thought it would be right to credit you but yeah, privacy is also of concern.
