iPod Touch / iPhone. - Signed in somewhere else.

I need to have my iMac Adium software stay connected when I'm using my iPod Touch/iPhone. I have to keep reconnecting one or the other. How can this be done?

It depends on the protocol used.

I know XMPP/Jabber supports multiple logins, and Adium (and all other Jabber clients) support it. I think recent versions of the WLM protocol support it too, although i'm not sure if libpurple/Adium does yet. Of the other protocols i have no idea.
