Emoticons in contact list

Post by Félix »

It think it hadn't been asked yet, so here it is...

Could there be a way to show emoticons in the contact names, both in the contact list and the conversation window?

(Forgive my crappy grammar please... That's what happen when you're a French guy writing in English)

this has been discussed but I can't remember where, and for some obvious reason that I forgot decided not to support.

It does work now on 'events' (like contact closing the conversation window) so it doesn't seem consistant.

excuse me for my french, I'm a dutch guy ;)

I'm French and I can say, twopeak, that your translation is pretty good! :D

Et c'est juste pour dire: Vive nos amis Belges et nos cousins Québécois! :P

I really hope this never happens. It would blemish pretty contact lists worldwide!

Twopeak, your French is probably better than my English :D

On devrait monter l'Alliance Francophone Outremers.

No jokes, I'd like to see the smilies in the contact names. I know some don't like to have them, but if there could be something in the preferences to enable/disable it, I'd be happy.
