I just want to give a hand... If programmers think these icons are good enough, I'll continue my work, or maybe simply help Wes Underwood in its work... It was just an idea: Adium's my favourite chat app and I want to help if I can
First off costomizing the toolbar icons, thats crazy talk.
Anyways nice work. I'm sorry to saw we already have a replacement for the emotican's and I'm working on an event's icon. I would like to have an actual object for events anyways. The picture we might be able to use, but you do realize that that icon only appears in the in costomize toolbar diologe because once the icon is in the actual toolbar it becomes someone's buddy icon. You would also have to get rid of the text. I have some say, but what goes in the app is not up to me.

I think so... It would be useless.

Correct.
Anyway, it was just an experiment: as you said, what goes in the app is not up to me. If depelopers want to use these icons, feel free to do.

is the replacement icon for emoticons you're talking about in b12? because that one is still kinda uggie dude. i'd go with this guy's redesign for sure.

Can't please everyone. The ones wunderwood made are nice, and I'd personally opt for his over these.
Could you make one of the photograph that doesn't have text? In the spirit of internationalizing Adium we've been trying not to use words in the icons, as they aren't (easily) localizable.
I'm sure you'll do a good work with it, you're surely better than me in small icon design
I've included in the .zip file all the icons i've made... feel free to modify if you want!
Anyway, if i design some other icon, i'll post here
thanks guys!
First of all, I'm sorry we don't have a use for anything except the picture.
Also, when I asked for a the psd file I wanted all the layers intact, not flattened. That's because I need to do things like take out the type and make the stroke bigger. Sorry I was unclear. You can send it to my e-mail. wunderwood@mac.com
If you don't have a layered file, than I will go ahead and just recreate the icon. It's a simple (but creative) design so it should be easy to do.
