Adium crashes constantly

I have been having this problem for a couple days now, and it's really getting on my nerves. Every time I launch Adium, it runs for about a minute, then crashes. Occasionally it will run for longer, maybe a couple hours, but not often. It doesn't matter what I do (or don't do). I have tried deleting the prefs in the Preference folder, forcing it to create a new Adium 2.0 folder, and using a new system user. I've restarted, shut down and let my computer cool, pretty much anything I can think of. I've run it with every program, and with only Safari and Mail. It still crashes.

This started about 24 hours after I updated to 10.3.9, so it's likely related, but since it didn't start right away, I'm not sure how. I'm running Adium 0.77, and don't have any system mods other than a fresh set of icons from CandyBar that were installed weeks ago.

Please help me. I'm lost, and I don't want to stop using Adium, because I like it a lot.

hey Girl, try the beta version.. it's way better than 0.77:

0.77 is an old version and not likely to be improved EVER. it's better to switch to Adium X 0.8b12

Has alot more features and runs fine here on OSX 10.3.9.

We highly recommend upgrading to Adium 0.80 beta, which fixes tons and tons of issues from the 0.7x series. You can find it at http://beta.adiumx.com. Let us know if your problems continue with the current beta version.
