add you contacts: WHAT A MESS!

Hey guys,
hope you can help me, I'm really freaking out!

I've just bought the new macbook and I've installed adium to use my MSN account... everything is cool... but when I add a new contact I can see it online, even if it is. they can see me, but I can't see them! this is only for new contacts, not for old

I think that this has been broken in the betas for a while now. Deleting a contact doesn't work either.

I'd file a bug but it's a waste of my time as they are just closed without any solution.

Not true. There's a minority of issues we cannot do anything about. In those cases, we have no choice but to close bug reports as such. But in the majority of cases, this is not what happens to reports.

Italian89, thraxisp, does that happen with every MSN user you add? I haven't experienced this issue using 1.4.
