Crash on message window and message prefs opening

I am running Adium 1.4.1 on OS X 10.5.8. I had previously installed the adium HUD as well as the hirogen message style. Whenever I try to open a message window or someone messages me, Adium crashes. If I try to change my message theme preferences, I can't even access the panel -- the program crashes.

I attempted to delete Adium and then reinstall. I only removed the application. I do not have a directory in ~\Library\Application Support for Adium 2.0. I also do not have any of the cache files that should be present, so I can't completely removed all of the saved preferences. I overwrote some resources files when installing the HUD and I have no idea where the hirogen message style installed. I clearly need a brand new resources folder, but that doesn't appear to be possible. Whenever I uninstall and re-install, all of my preferences are saved.

im guessing what one of the staffers would do is ask for that crash log from you to be copy and pasted here in the code display

Ive had adium crash for strange reasons before. I generally found making sure every account i had had its own alias name assigned to it via the preferences and click edit and its on one of the tabs rather than the main tab that controls all the accounts. Also making sure you dont use the same screen picture set up on multiple acounts as the universal one being same as a selected screen picture. Im guessing your hunch is correct on it being the theme because of its location you cant seem to find but why havent you just used spotlight to search for its location??
