Dock Icon

Hello All

I was wondering If anyone could turn My Custom duck I made on the left here, Into a Dock Icon? I have a Higher RES on request. Or is there a program I can get?

it's best you do it yourself, it's pretty easy, and you'll learn something.

I'll give you an easy guide on how to do this.

Make your image a png file, with transparancy.
go to ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Dock Icons/ (you can open a window and press cmd-g to get a dialog, or navigate yourself)

then take an icon, and duplicate it (take it, drag it, while holding the mouse press the alt button and release it. You will see a green + sign next to the mouse)
rename this to whatever you want, and control-click it. Choose the option "View Package Content".

Now you can double click the "IconPack.plist" file to edit the information (it really is obvious if you look a bit around.)
And you can put your images instead of the images that are already there.

There!
Now you learned that some files can be packages, containing ...stuff
and you learned about editing property list files.
and you learned how to make more great dock icons.
Don't forget to restart adium for the icons to be usable.
