I have two actually feature requests.
a) Rss feed support (via plugin?)
I like the idea of the twitter timeline stream. I think this could be very easily extended to provide RSS feed support. Options for such a plugin would be to sync via google reader for offline storage of read states and the ability to expand stories to full content within an adium tab.
b) facebook stream support (via plugin/plugin extension)
if the twitter plugin supports it why not through the facebook plugin? The fb status messages can also further expand inline to present rich media content and replies could be implemented by opening a new tab for each post.
even if someone could imlpement the request (a), we would be able to follow a google buzz stream or a fb status feed (which is not the same as the timeline). By adding such features, adium would be able to even compete with seesmic and tweetdeck head to head.
