I have been using Adium for a few years now (and the Beta for a long time before it went to main release). I have consistently had the problem of certain contacts' display pictures not showing. I have seen a couple of posts on the bug tracker about this but it seems none of them resolved the issues or they were otherwise just temporary.
I have tried clearing the cache (and indeed I have reformatted and reinstalled snow leopard several times in between this period) with no avail, I always have problems with the same exact contacts display pictures not showing up.
These problems are not apparent on either the official Mac for MSN client, or aMSN. Nor are they a problem on any Windows clients (Official WLM, Trillian, Digsby) it seems to be solely an Adium problem.
Can anyone help?
