Issue with Adium Freezing / Updating Twitter Feed

Hi,

I am using Adium 1.4.1 on a MacBook Pro OS Version 10.5.8, 4 GB Memory 2.4 Ghz Core Duo

Upon launching, I auto connect to AIM, GTalk, Bonjour, Yahoo, and Twitter

There are many times that upon launching, the twitter feed will appear, but then I get the spinning beach ball. Sometimes, it is just a matter of a few minutes to update, but other times, the application hangs and is unresponsive. I follow approximately 40 people. Occasionally a message will appear about not being able to update due to traffic. I end up having to force quit several times. If I am able to log in without the twitter feed appearing, I can disable the auto launch of twitter, then re-enable it.

When I force quit, it asks if I want to submit the problem to Apple. The log of that error message is attached.

Any help with this would be appreciated.
