I have an odd problem with one of my contacts. This doesn't happen all the time though.
OS X 10.5.8
Adium 1.4.1
The problem is that occasionally when opening a new chat window with this user, Adium gives me the beach ball cursor for literally about 30 minutes, before I can do anything with it. Other contacts have no problem opening a chat window and communicating with them.
I have Adium installed on 2 iMacs. The one having the problem is an intel iMac. An older iMac (G4 800MHz running 10.4.11) has no problems with the same contact. I had copied all the Adium files from the G4 iMac to the intel iMac and Adium worked fine for a while. Then this problem started occurring occasionally. Restarting the iMac doesn't seem to fix it.
Thoughts?

cruciarius, please try the 1.4.2 beta. It fixes a hang. By the way, is this contact an ICQ user?

No, the user is using AIM, but also has MSN and YIM. As default though, the chat window opens up as AIM.
