I have two groups that are similar and i want to actually have one group inside of another group (nested). Is this possible?

It's not possible.
IIRC, the devs were considering it at one time but dropped it because it really was way difficult to implement, especially since no protocol that I know of supports it.

Thanks for the reply. I have done it on AIM and Trillian in windows but i guess that's irrelevant.

You can nest groups in AIM?
I guess it's been a while since I used the official AIM client!

Man, was it fun while it lasted though.
My buddy list still has remnants of the nested groupings.
The problem was that we had to keep all the nesting info local, since nothing supported it. It was just a mess.
