About MSN FILE TRANSFER (receiving + sending)

I am a adium msn user,

On 1.4.1 and earlier versions, file transfer have been at least working, files can be successfully either received or sent out.
However, from 1.4.2 beta till now, 1.4.2 proper release,
file transfer is not working for me,
there is no prompt or any sorts when someone sends me a file,
also there is no prompt on my friend's side neither when I try and send a file.
Adium just remains silence, I wont know if someone sends me files nor the other way round,
as if it seems to be not supporting file transferring.

I didnt do much about it since it was 1.4.2 beta but the problem still persist now even with the proper release.
I dont know if there were any notices around this forum and if there are, I am very sorry to re bring up this issue.
Is there something I can do about it?

File transfer is important to me.
I hope that they will fix it soon.

Hello Robby, in the blog it says about "direct file transfers", so I supposed that if I uncheck the option "allow direct connection" on msn account settings it will fix the problem but apparently it isn't... I can receive files normally but when I send files I have about 90% chance for the transfer to fail.

Adium 1.4.3 should work very much like 1.4.1 did with regards to MSN.

MSN file transfers don't work for me at all with 1.4.3. If I use MSN Messenger through a Windows VM on the same system, everything works perfectly.

Contacts don't get any notification when I try to send them a file and the same happens when they try sending me something.

I just confirmed that 1.4.1 works flawlessly for file transfers.

I have the same problem with 1.4.3
I have MAC OSX 10.6.8

Please, help me .... Adium just failed me since a lot!!!
