1.4.2 high cpu usage

i recently upgraded to v 1.4.2 and have been encountering an abnormally high CPU usage (~175-200% on my 2011 quadcore) when logging in. The problem persists until i log out. when running 1.4.1 i did not encounter this issue. Is anyone else having the same problem?

I am having similar issues on my MacBook Pro (2 cores). Doesn't happen all the time, and sometimes spontaneously starts. Force Quit and restart will also sometimes help.

How do we send a bug report to the developers?

I filed a ticket with samples, and here are the samples that I filed there...

Also, I am still seeing this behavior daily. Adium will use almost all CPU for a significant time (minute or more??) a short time after being loaded. The heavy use will sometimes stop if an Adium menu is accessed, sometimes if some other program does something, but often I will have to quit and restart Adium to get my CPUs back..

MacBook Pro (late 2008), dual Core, 10.6.7
