HELP! Deny & Block feature NOT working!!

Hello...

Mac os x Version 10.5.8 Processor 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Memory 2 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 - Adium 1.4.1

For quite some time now, I'm getting a request to add someone to my IM that I don't know. *See attached jpg* I've attached a snap shot I took of the someone or something trying to add me. I believe it is some sort of spam or bug that won't go away. Every time I log onto Adium, the request box is there, no matter how many times I highlight and 'Deny & Block'

Getting very frustrating having it be there all the time... does anybody know if there is ANYthing that can be done about this?

The fact that 45 people including myself are seeing the same problem, it is obvious that there is a problem with Audium, but no one seems interested in fixing it. In fact, I have finally decided to totally delete Adium from my computer, because almost none of my friends use it anymore. Seems Twitter and Facebook is where everyone is today.

Adium, not Audium. And it is obvious you have a problem, but that doesn't necessarily mean that everyone else have the problem. But I've taken the liberty of searching for you, and we already know that there are issues with the privacy settings.

Adium is open source done by developers in their free time. They spend their time on what they want to do, not what you want them to do. But you are free to put up a bounty or supply a patch yourself.

Try launching the official Yahoo client, and see if you can block the person there. Sometimes it works!
