Coming from Miranda on PC I do miss one very clever way of sorting contacts: by last event date... this is great because it always keeps the list sorted in a relevant way where the people you recently interacted with on the top. This should be separate from the groups sorting though of course. Personally I prefer a manual sort order for groups.
