Adium reset after update

I ran the update for Adium and then when I relaunched it all my accounts and settings were gone. I readded the accounts but all my settings and logs are gone. The chat logs are what I'm most upset about. I checked in the Application support folder but they aren't there. There is a lot of Adium related stuff in the trash but I really want my chat logs back. Anyone else have this problem?

same pb here,
but I had a look in the trash : there was a folder and a pref file I put back in library, trashing those who where there, and everything's back

Unfortunately, I have only one idea why Adium preferences files would end up in the trash after updating: certain uninstaller apps (such as iTrash) move preference files automatically to the trash when an app is placed there. And in the updating process the previous version is moved to the bin...
