dmg. Not being recognized?

When downloading Adium from your download page (Adium_1.5.1.dmg) i get a window popping up saying:

The following disk images could not be opened
Image Reason
Adium_1.5.1.dmg Not Recongnized

This hasn't been commonly reported.

i have to agree Robby that it's a strange issue. I'm running 10.7.2 so maybe its got something to do with Apple's new update,

but i simply followed one of the steps mentioned in that given forum.

by going to 'Get Info' on the file, going down to Open with you see a drop down menu and you should see DiskImageMounter.app in that box because of this file being a .dmg

all i did was click for the drop down and re-select DiskImageMounter.app again and clicked the 'Change All' button underneath it. then Adium opened right up. bout to install now. Thanks a ton boss
