Linux Audium/status.icon/menu.bar/how.to.change

Post by SyncMaster »

Hello everyone...
I was searching for some themes for my linxu messenger and as I was looking I found out that this messenger is actualy a copy of Audium made for linux.
I found the themes and also instructions on how to install them but, i can't find anyware how to change the "menu bar icons", "status icons", "List Layout" and so on.
The themes go under "/usr/share/audium/message-style/theme_name.AudiumStyleMessage" but only for the chat window.
Can someone please tell me where to I need to copy the files for the other things?
Thank You!

Isn*t this something you'd want to ask the makers of the app you're using? (By the way, I'd be interested to know which Linux app copies Adium.)

Well not really, couse every time I search for themes and stuff, it keeps redirecting me to the official Adium site and I don't think it's by error.
The linux version is called Empathy and runs under Debian distros (Ubuntu 10.04, 12.04 LTS, etc)

Empathy isn't really "a copy of Adium for Linux". It merely supports Adium message styles. It does not support any other kind of Adium Xtras.

I use neither Empathy nor even Linux but all information I found on the net suggests it's only message styles.

What leads you to believe that? At least with plugins that seems impossible as Adium is written in an entirely different programming language than Empathy. As for other Xtras such as contact list themes, Empathy does not advertise their support.

I had been to the Empathy website. It states:
Conversation theming (see list of supported Adium themes).
That is all. The Wikipedia entry doesn't mention anything in relation to Adium Xtras at all.

Adium is mostly written in Objective-C.
