Latest Update 1.5.2 Issues

So I installed the update to 1.5.2 from 1.5.1 and a few problems came up.

1) I cannot change the order of my contacts. It's set to alphabetically even though status is checked. None of the other options work.
2) I cannot open a chat window. I double click, hit enter, or even when my friends IM me. Window isn't open.
3) Preference panel freezes when I click default client tab.


Any advice on how to proceed?

Wow, I haven't seen this reported before.

- Do other applications on your Macs behave in a similarly erratic way?
- Have you tried fixing disk permissions?
- Is there any Adium-related output to Console.app?

1.No other applications are behaving erratically
2. I have tried fixing disk permissions to no effect
3. Console getting "[AIMMessageWindow Controller loadwindow]: failed tro load window nib file 'MessageWindow' but that is it.


I am going to try and reinstall and see if that helps.

How did you "reinstall"? Did you simply replace the application bundle or did you thrash the preferences as well?
