Won't go online - connecting disconnecting

  Adium 5.1.2
  Company wide Ethernet, my Configure IPv4: Using DHCP

Everytime I launch Adium I get an Error msg that says I've been connecting/disconnecting too frequently and that I have to wait 10 minutes or more to login again. And it sets me to 'offline'. I cannot connect at all.

Adium used to work perfectly for me. In fact, it used to work perfectly for everyone here at work. Then suddenly one day it stopped. Now it works for some and not for others.

I've recently updated Adium twice to 5.1 and now 5.1.2; not sure what I had before that.
Several months back I also updated OS 10.4.11 to 10.6.8 - I don't think that was when the Adium issue started though.

I can wait minutes, hours, days, weeks or even months before launching Adium and the result is the same - it won't let me connect and gives me that dreadful error msg. Waiting does not help.

What's a guy gotta do to get a good chat going these days?

I am having the same problem. 3 weeks ago, Adium stopped connecting for me as well. I did not change ay software on Adium or my Mac. I reinstalled Adium. Still won't connect. It just keeps trying to reconnect and says error is not authorized. assword is correct. Any help would be appreciated as I really like Adium. - Thank You.

See attachment - after updating to Mountain Lion I get the errors you see. I was running 1.5.2 and I trashed that and all the settings and tried 1.5.3b1 - same deal.

I'm not permitted to tell you my server addresses themselves, but both are XMPP based. One requires old style SSL, the other doesn't. Neither work.
