Novell Groupwise Messenger issues

I have been unable to log in to Adium (1.5.2) since last Friday. Adium attempts to login but says 'Unable to find user', having hung at 33% connected for a while, then fails.

Have followed all instructions on forums etc for connection issues, including deleting/renaming old library files. Have also removed user account and added again. Am using Lion 10.7.4 on MB Pro.

My Novell Messenger account works fine on a pc, I've tried and verified this again today.

Any help appreciated, it's driving me mad.

I've updated to 1.5.3, still not working, seems there's no help available on this! Anyone?!
