Being online on more than one device

Post by Ranarion »

Hi,
when I connect my ICQ oder MSN-Account with Adium I get disconnected if I go online on my mobile phone. If I connect with Pidgin (on Ubuntu) this doesn't happen. Is there a solution for this problem?

Which version of Adium are you running?

1.5.4b1 but this didn't work in previous versions too.

That is odd. As you implied, Pidgin and Adium should work the same in this respect and I know multiple logins should work fine at least for MSN since Adium 1.5.1. Unfortunately, I don't know a solution.

Sometime this does work with MSN but sometimes not. But I don't get it why this works with Pidgin but not with Adium and this is behaviour quite annoying. :/

edit: okay, MSN does work. This problem appears only with ICQ, sorry.
