Adium support for iMessage?

When Apple came out with the Messages app I started using that and find it to be easy and simple to use but I like all the options that Adium has plus Adium has MSN support that's missing in Messages.
The problem is since I'm a big iOS user and many of my friends are I like to have iMessages support. For that reason what I do now is I use Adium for all of my chat services other than iMessage and keep Messages open for iMessage. Still I'd rather just use one Messages app. For this reason I'd like to know if Adium has iMessage support. When adding accounts I realize there is an option called MobileMe. Is this the same as iMessage or is this similar to the older iChat that Apple had? If iMessage is not available yet I'd like to see that added soon. Some other things I'd like to see come to Adium are video chat, audio chat, and file transfers.

Adium supports file transfers, albeit not very well for every service.
