Status icon (possible states)... where's the list again?

Post by falconbrad »

Once upon a time, there was a list of the statuses that Adium recognized and would assign a specific status icon to. Now I can't seem to find that thread anymore... either because it's gone or I'm a moron, and it's probably the latter. Anyway, someone point me in the right direction?

Unfortunately, that information was in the beta thread, which is now hidden from all but moderators! If such a moderator wanders by this thread, here is the link to a post which I believe contains the full list...

It won't work for anyone else though.

Thanks!

Is that list current? I thought that invisible and mobile icons were required in 0.80...

Also, while we're on the subject, there was talk some time back about adding a tag for idle & away as a separate status (different than idle, and away). This was a long time ago... could the option for such a beast exist as a non-required status tag?

Updated it. Mobile is in the list, and is required. Invisible is not actually required, though it's recommended; it'll use the Generic Away if not specified.

Away + Idle offers a bit of an implementation hiccup with how it's set up right now, but could look at it at a later date.

Hehe. :)

Which protocol has a "Free for chat" status? Bizarre - seems rather redundant, unless it doesn't have a generic Available state.

Both ICQ and Jabber do. I have no idea, either, I just work here :P
