Adium 0.8 events

Hi,

I've upgraded to Adium 0.8 today.
But I didn't find how to display in the event of a contact signing on or off the squared box fading in and out in the centre of the screen.

It's like the previous preferences are no longer recognised, I had to fix the windows display preferences as well. I am in Tiger.

I could be wrong, but I think it has something to do with Growl. http://www.growl.info/

If you'd read the release notes, the previous preferences ARE no longer recognized The events system saw a complete re-write and couldn't.

Growl is used for those messages now. Check the Growl system pref, make sure it's turned on, and then give events you want to see something for a Growl notification.
