Cmd-selecting feeds displays only last selected feed's items

Post by beekay »

This happens with Vienna 2.6.2601. I'm not sure if it happens with the current beta, because as a rule, I do not use beta software. I am on 10.8.2.

I have subscribed to two feeds that contain duplicated items. I want to see to what extent the items are duplicated so that I can delete one or the other. Both feeds are contained in a Group folder titled "News." The feeds are:
I select the "msnbc.com: Top msnbc.com headlines" feed in Report layout and sort by Subject. The feed's items appear in the list. Then, I cmd-click the "U.S. News" feed. My expectation is that upon cmd-selecting feeds, the contents of both would appear in the list, sorted by Subject. But, only the contents of the second feed appears in the list.

Not sure this can be called a bug, but given the ubiquitous use of of cmd-selecting to include all items selected, I think this might be an oversight? It would be useful if cmd-selecting showed all items for the selected feeds.

Thanks.

Thanks for noticing. Yes, it can be qualified as a bug, but be patient : there are some urgent priorities related to Google Reader demise…
