Bug Report: Folder Images

Post by jhersco »

This reports a bug regarding Folder Images:

1. Versions: Vienna Beta 12 with Mac OS X v10.8.4. Preferences are set to sync with Bazqux Reader.

2. Description of Problem: After moving the Vienna folder out of ~/Library/Application Support, I reopened Vienna and my feed list from Bazqux Reader rebuilt itself. All feeds are present now, but many feeds no longer have the correct folder image. Instead, several of them have the same image as one of the other feeds on my list. When I select File/Refresh Folder Images from the menu bar, the images in question change to different incorrect logos. When I quit and reopen Vienna, the folder images on the feeds in question change yet again to other incorrect logos. The attached screenshot 1 shows how the MLBTradeRumors.com logo is next to 10 different feeds. The attached screenshot 2 shows how, after selecting File/Refresh Folder Images from the menu bar, the c/net logo has replaced the MLBTradeRumors.com logo on those same feeds.

3.In order to troubleshoot this issue, I rebuilt the feed list several times by trashing the Vienna folder from ~/Library/Application Support. The problem repeats itself.

Have you tried the "File->Refresh Folder Images" command ?

When I select File/Refresh Folder Images from the menu bar, the images in question change to different incorrect logos. When I quit and reopen Vienna, the folder images on the feeds in question change yet again to other incorrect logos. See attached screenshots in my original post for results of selecting File/Refresh Folder Images. Of course, I could choose not to show images at all, but what fun is there in that?
