Uhm, .8 how to meta contacts

My meta contacts seem to have exploded back into individual buddies, the usual way seems to only move the buddy list window, how do you merge them again?

Hold cmd and drag to arrange your contact list; just drop one contact on another to be prompted to create a metacontact.

Hmm working with command now, but I messed up and made a mistake, to try to remove a meta contact just closes the slide out drawer

If you quit and relaunch it should stop doing that. I had that happen a while back but was never able to reproduce it again afterwards.
