Converstation Issue

Post by Colorado Guy »

Woo Hoo to the Devs!! :D I absolutely love the new ver, has all the features, options I've wanted.

Here's my slight, tiny issue...that's probably just my fault for missing a setting somewhere:

Ok, say I am talking to a few buddys...I am on the tab/window with buddy (A) and buddy (B) sends a message it automatically goes back to his window even if I am in mid-sentence with buddy (A).

Any ideas?

Again, you Devs ROCK! :D

PS: I thought it was because in Events>Message received>I had put "Open a message window" Thinking this may have caused it because it was opening a "new" window so it was forcing it over, even though it was a current conversation. However, I took that out of events, and restart Adium, but it's still happening...just wanted to save time in case someone was going to suggest that. ;)

Never in my life have I seen it!

My only suggestions are the standard stuff for curing weird behaviour in an app - move the .plists out from ~/Library/Preferences/ to see if it helps. Maybe do the same with the Adium 2.0 folder in Application Support. Put them back if they don't solve the problem though.

This isn't the standard behavior so perhaps you still have an 'open new window' event somewhere?
