Other people adding me

I only use MSN so have no idea if the problem is multi service.

Recently somebody added me to their MSN list, I clicked authorize and the name has not appeared on my list, I even used the microsoft client and could not find them on the list.

I cannot remember the address and I am present on so many web locations that I cannot think of a way of findingout who it was or contacting them.

Is there a way around this?

Unfortunatly at the moment authorizing a contact to add you does nothing to add them on your list in Adium. You need to click "Add Contact" on the contact menu, then type in their email address. Unfortunate if you can't remember it, this could work as a workaround, but I'm not sure sometimes screennames getting in the way stop it working:

Open the official MSN client then open the preferences, click the privacy tab and click the button to find out who has added you on their contact list. Look for the person you think it is and note down the email address, then go back to Adium (or in msn...) and add them like that.

Alternativly just wait untill they talk to you again and add them after finding their email through get info (probably much easier).
