File transfer greyed

hi there.

since i updated to 0.80 the filetransfer is greyed in the menu and cannot be used.

does anyone know why?

have you select a contact?
or press control+click ( right mouse button ) in the contact list

of course i have selected a contact.

a friend of mine has the same problem. we are both using 0.80 on tiger. as soon as we updated to 0.80. the transfer-function is not longer available.

ok. now i know more about my problem.

i cannot send files from my icq-account.
but it works well with my msn-account.

any suggestions why?

It's possible to send files in ICQ?!

I thought it wasn't in ICQ since ICQ is so much like TOC AIM.

I see… well TOC != completely dead. AIM's web interface uses TOC.

Well, ICQ needs more stuff then… does it support buddy icons?

I love this programme, however on iChat when I try and sent a file transfer, it will just keep saying that it is initializing. The person at the other end has clicked on accept - however I then have to open iChat and tranfer it that way.

Any advice or suggestions - Im using an iMac G4 with tiger. 8)
