Happy Hollidays
this is only ment for people who build source, follow the directions here http://adium.sourceforge.net/development.php to build from source. There is no guarantee that these files will work in the future development or will not cause a future version of Adium to behave poorly if not removed.
directions: unzip status icons.zip, and then put the status icons folder into your ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0, it should work from there. If you already have a status icon folder then place each folder in the already existing status folder.
heres the link http://files.bighosting.net/ou16336.zip (its only good for a month)
where i got these icons
http://www.adiumxtras.com/index.php?a=xtras&xtra_id=991
http://www.adiumxtras.com/index.php?a=xtras&xtra_id=950
http://www.adiumxtras.com/index.php?a=xtras&xtra_id=869
i also converted silverfox's icons, and all the other icons that were listed on this topic.
the status bubbles and 'idle bubbles' were created by seph
colladium and candyball status icons were created by thejokell
i changed the modified sef bubbles a little, but also included the original. I take no credit for the creation of these status icons, i just made it easier for those who build from source to make them work with the new source. people who still use .7 can use the links above ("where i got these icons") to install them by (taken from http://www.adiumxtras.com/index.php?a=xtras&xtra_id=711) Right click Adium > Show package contents. Open resources > status icons > gem.statusicons. Move the icons there & replace.
some of these packs might require you to "duplicate & add tab- to the beginning to replace the tab- pngs. (then) Restart Adium!"

Re: Happy Hollidays
If you're going to redistribute my icons (which are already hosted and linked to in this thread), could you please include the ReadMe file? Because one of the sets is open source so I think it needs to have a reference to the original author.Somethingiateforlunch wrote:this is only ment for people who build source, follow the directions here http://adium.sourceforge.net/development.php to build from source. thejokell which ones are yours? i can add that readme if you want, but this link is temporary and im not going to repost it after a month..
EDIT: i dont think that this topic is getting a whole lot of traffic so if its a problem with the readme file ill just crap the link. im not saying this in a terrible tone and no offense is ment.. its just not really worth the time to recreate the link and such since not many people are using (plus theres a sticky that says no more source on the forum).
EDIT EDIT: i added that jokell and seph made they're respective icon packs on the original post. if anyone has a problem with the redistribution of their status icons let me know how i can correct it, or if its a real problem i will scrap the link.

shapes status icons
i am looking for the status icons that were the simple shapes, like a triangle for idle and a note for away.... i couldn't find this in the preferences or as an icon download. i miss the simplicity of these icons and don't remember where i got them if they were from a theme. any suggestions?
thanks!
