Problems with background image

Post by MetalSnake »

I have a small picture set to tile in the Adium background, it works ok if I hide the offline users and the Contactlistwindow is smaller, but if I show offline users the windows gets bigger and I get this (200KB, PNG)

I have no idea why that might be happening. It may be a CSS problem within your messageview style. What style are you running?
the sky is going to crush you.

Why would the CSS of the message view affect the contact list which in no way uses WebKit?

Isn't there a tile, or stretch option in the contact list background preferences? Yes, there is. Appearance -> Colour Theme -> Customize. Then the bottom pulldown menu, select "stretch to fill"

Or pick a bigger picture.

I choosed tile that should tile it so often that it will fill the complete background, but it seems like the background will be scrolled too which shouldn´t happen?
