"Contact is typing"

Right now all that I get is the tiny icon that minutely changes whenever a contact is typing.

Is there a way that I can make a skin more pronounced? Or even better, make an iChat "thought bubble" appear?

Yeah, there was a warning message in the beginning of the week: they're moving to another server and there would be a downtime of a couple of days
