Has anyone noticed that if you look at Adium X(tras) site in Internet Explorer, it is totally messed up! The transparency on the images dont work, the main content is pushed to the bottom of the page and the boxes dont line up.
Is it me or is it a IE problem?
BTW, i tried FireFox and displays just fine.

Adium X(tras) site layout with IE
well considering adium only works with 10.2+, they sould be using safari
maybe if the site detects ie for mac it displays a popup telling them to switch to safari?

That's like telling people that a website should only work with ie 5.5 in a popup tooWengero wrote:well considering adium only works with 10.2+, they sould be using safari

Same thing with telling people about using firefox, or if they should use a certain resolution or even a certain computer.
Yeah, IE for Mac and IE for Windows both have outstanding bugs and random behavior when parsing CSS, known by MS for years but ignored in the thinking that they don't had to fix those bugs, in fact it was good for them because web designers build the websites taking only IE for Win into account and those end up working only in IE/Win.m0nk3y wrote:ok fair enough.
I was woundering why these issues happen? Why does it work fine with Firefox but not IE? Is it the way it parses the CSS??
Now they say they are very sorry and will try to fix that in the next IE/Win 7 which, by the way, wasn't supposed to ever see the light of day.
In short, gotta love Microsoft.
