Adium 0.81 Laggy?

I don't know whether anyone has been experiencing this before or not. But since the 0.80 and 0.81 releases i find Adium to be extremely laggy. I have read the posts about it being processor hungry and when i have a message waiting for me, adium uses about 40% processor power juz to flash the person's name in my contact list and to flash the dock icon. I have removed the bouncing dock icon and the growl notification but it's still extremely laggy when i chat with multiple people....

I'm running a G4 with OS 10.3.9...

Any suggestions?

yea I am experiencing the same problem
it's pretty annoying

if I had to guess where the issue is coming from, I would say...
first of all
it doesnt happen when I have freshly loaded adium
after I have adium running for a day or so it starts happening more
so I think the reason is -
also I still see the buggy behavior of even if you have history off and close a window..sometimes that window w/ all of the chat in it pops back up out of nowhere...so meaning it has to of have been stored in memory all this time and not really closed up so lets say you got 5 windows like that ...tahts gona start causing a beachball effect no?
thats just my guess from my experience.

it def. happens for me the longer the app is opened as well.

Go to the link that Catfish_Man provided. Make tickets on it if it's an issue. Locking this thread as it does not need to be on the forums
