have fun!
I beg to differ. Smooth Operator 1.0b2 had a working background as it is in my copy. So just erase the stuff in Footer.html and off you go with an authentic SOb2!

Open main.css and look at “.initial .sender”.

Delete “text-transform: lowercase;”

That should work.

Woo! Very cool. Now I can play around with the settings. Get the status and away messages to show up.

Thanks!

The beta looks really, really good.. nice work! I'm just being curious here, but is someone planning to make a matching Growl display style?

The only thing i miss from the old release is the lighter borders..

oh c'moonn guys, I spent 3 days looking for it and you just post it here!!!
That's plain evil!

Now where's the fun in betas if they're public...
I liked it more when ppl were teasing us; like with the .8 SNV...

now go and delete those links, those who had it, had it, the rest has to find it ;-)

Interesting. Looking forward to the 'stable' (?) release.
Could the smooth scrolling go a little faster? It's so slow it's almost irritating. Nice effect tho.

Smooth scroling would be awesomeness if it wouldn't take 5 seconds.

it takes 5 seconds? are you using tiger? ive noticed smooth scrolling works a lot better in tiger.. i remember in panther it used to take somewhere around 5 seconds, and it used to bug the heck out of me!

Well not literally 5 seconds, but it looks like 5 seconds. It's 2,5 to 3 seconds, for real. Using Tiger, yah.

For all of you who hate the Smooth Scrolling, erase the Footer.html (or empty its contents).
