feature request/question re: get info

would it be possible to have a menu option where i can get the info for a user's name i type in? sometimes i want to get the info for someone not on my buddy list, and this is currently not possible. thanks!

command+N, type it in, command+shift+I

zau, that works, but it's kind of an odd intermediary step required.
