Trac causing Safari to crash?!

Post by Rita »

Every time I go to trac to do a search for something, safari crashes. It will find the results, and some of of the pages will be linked, but for some reason, if I scroll over others, Safari just dies. Example, do a search for fonts, and if I scroll over the the third one down (#336: Pasted fonts), Safari dies, but the first two act like normal. Same thing if I search for "find buddy by e-mail" and scroll over the first one (the ticket I opened, ironically), but the second one behaves like normal.

Is it Safari? Is it trac? Is it me?

WTF?

P.S. I would have sent this into trac, but I was afraid doing so would make Safari crash. :(

Ok, question. Safari seems to be crashing on very random sites (including the trac page) when I try to click a link or a button (e.g., when creating an account, hitting submit). I've been going back and forth on the apple discussion board all day, to no avail. The problem seems to have started a day or so after downloading the beta version. Is there anything in the beta version that would have somehow conflicted with Safari?

I highly doubt it, but thought I'd ask anyway.

Yup. Crashes. Don't think it has anything to do with the beta though :)
